Zippro System specialises in providing custom made business solutions for small and medium size businesses throughout the UK, to help improve and promote their websites. An exciting opportunity for a PHP Developer / Web Developer to join our growing team in all above location.

As a PHP Developer / Web Developer, you will be responsible or trained for producing database driven websites, including eCommerce and advanced database-driven systems using XHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL.

Using your excellent communication skills, you will confidently liaise with clients and internal staff throughout the projects, ensuring satisfactory results whilst working to agreed standard operations.

To be considered for the role of PHP Developer / Web Developer, you must have:

  • Web development experience using PHP and MySQL
  • Proven experience of HTML / XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
  • Experience of using Object Oriented Programming
  • A degree in computer science or similar

Additionally, you must be self motivated with a positive `can-do` attitude. The ability to manage your own time, to set deadlines and schedules is also key.

Although not essential, graphic designs skills and experience of using Adobe Photoshop would be a distinct advantage to your application, as would experience of Linux server setup, configuration and maintenance. Experience of the general principles of the internet, such as DNS, networking or security would also be beneficial.
